Adult Specialized Training Award
Established in 2023 to provide adult advisors of chartered units financial relief for the additional and external training requirements for High Adventure or unit operations. Awards include reimbursement for the cost of tuition* for approved specialized training classes (online or in-person).
Basic Eligibility Requirements
Adult training that is outside of the normal unit and required by the designated High Adventure Base; or is required to serve in Pack Leadership
Once completed, the training can be leveraged across multiple high adventure trips and/or across multiple years/seasons
The training will enhance the overall safety and/or operational capabilities of the unit
The Applicant is active as a registered adult leader, committee member, or Adult Camper
The Adult has completed all of the required training and screenings to be Youth Protection Certified
Applicant's family must have no outstanding debts (monetary or equipment) with the unit

Procedures
Successfully complete the training
Complete the Award application form
Applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee quarterly
